Bakewell L.P., a professional parking facility management company
located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania,
was
established in 1986 as an affiliate company of
Oxford Development Company.
Bakewell's principle objective is to control expenses for building and
garage owners and provide a level of professional service that ensures
a consistent revenue stream. Bakewell’s staff is trained to operate
multi-level parking facilities as well as smaller surface lots. Bakewell has in-house professionals to provide consulting services to
clients on matters ranging from facility construction issues to
operating strategies.
Bakewell was founded by Oxford Development Company
in response to a perceived need for quality parking
management services and operating cost control in the Pittsburgh
parking market. The history of the company from the time of its
inception is one of accomplishment of those goals. From an 850-space,
multi-level parking structure to small surface lots, Bakewell has
proved that revenues can be improved and expenses reduced without
sacrificing the level of service to the parking public.
In 1993, Main Lot, Inc. was formed to provide the same kind and
quality of service, but to do so using organized labor.
In 2008, Main Lot, Inc. was changed to ODC
Parking, Inc.
ODC Parking, Inc. and Bakewell L.P. are separate but affiliated parking facility operators in the City of
Pittsburgh which share management and operating resources.
